i have been fascinated with kenjutsu ever since i started studying the Japanese Language. Now, i want to inquire if IGA Kendo Club would be opening a dojo here in Cebu...

Should you open up a dojo here in cebu, kindly send me a message.

Hello Dan Mark,

Dan Mark says...
Hi there! Do you have a branch here in Cebu? Or do you know any Kendo Dojo in Cebu?

Unfortunately at this point in time we know of no Kendo dojo in Cebu. As soon as we hear of one, we will announce it on our website so that people will know.

Hello Kutch / Everyone! Just wondering if we can order from you our Kendo uniform set for our Iloilo Kendo Club members (probably 4-6set)? :)
We've sourced out a vendor but it's too expensive for a set (Php 4,500). :(

Hi Jun.

jun says...
how much for your gi and hakama??

It depends on where we source it from, but minimum price is P2700 for a set. Are you asking because you are interested in joining the club? Please be aware that we do not require you to get a hakama immediately. Only after about four months of training.

I hope this helps.

Hi Jun,

JunB says...
would like to inquire if there's an age limit to be able to Join the club for beginner's training?

Normally we do not have an age limit, but we do encourage children below the age of 14 to join the Dasma Dojo simply because there are more kids there. We would also ask guardians to accompany children to the classes. As for upper age limit, we don't have any as long as you don't have any outstanding health issues.

I hope this helps.
